The Marceline City Council has approved a change to their vicious dogs ordinance, dealing with unattended animals in the city park.

City Manager Jesse Wallis says the council received several reports of problems, leading to the vote at last week’s council meeting.

The council also heard from a group of residents wanting to reinstall a dome over the city pool, allowing its use this winter.

Marceline’s city council also approved a bid from Better By Design to inventory the city’s service lines and provide in-field verification.
