The Johnson County Commission reviewed six bids for the Justice Center Re-roofing project during its meeting on Thursday, July 25.

The commission reviewed six different bids that ranged significantly in in the total dollar amount. The lowest bid was from Quality Roofing Company in the amount of $538,000; while the high bid came from Meridian Roofing Solutions in the amount of $986,213.

All six bids are listed below:
-Quality Roofing Company: $538,000
-Delta Innovation Services Inc.: $563,000
-Missouri Builders Services Inc.: $568,250
-Watkins Roofing Inc.: $793,020
-Flynn Midwest LP: $925,461
-Meridian Roofing Solutions: $986,213

The commission was hoping the bids would come in under $400,000, but more money is budgeted for the project. The commission took the bids under advisement and will announce their decision at a later date. Doug Boe of WSKF Architects is the architect for this project.
