Drivers in Carroll and Chariton counties will have more delays if their drive involves crossing the Grand River this week.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct maintenance work on the Route 24 bridge crossing the Grand River west of Brunswick this week. Crews will close one lane at a time, with working hours 8:30 to 2:30 each day this week. The work comes while rehabilitation work continues on the Route M bridge over the river east of Bosworth. That bridge remains closed until a projected completion date of October 1st.

Also this week in Chariton County, MoDOT crews will patch potholes on Route K south from Keytesville on Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
