Slater Superintendent Dr Terry Lorenz says the district needs to decide early this fall if they’ll switch to a four-day school week next year.

Lorenz says a committee exploring the idea is expected to have a recommendation in the next month.

The committee met after last Tuesday’s Slater Board of Education meeting. The school board next meets August 27th.
