A Glasgow woman suffered moderate injuries after she collided with a pickup truck on a Randolph County highway Monday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Nitosha Shepherd was driving north on Route A about four miles north of Higbee, when at around 7:30, she attempted to make a pass. Instead she side-swiped a southbound pickup driven by Brian Dougherty of Higbee. The accident caused moderate injuries to Shepherd and resulted in her receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. Dougherty had no reported injuries. Troopers say both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
