Saline County voters who are visually or hearing impaired are able to cast their vote in next week’s primary election by way of an accessible balloting device.
County clerk Brittni Burton says the device is available for voters to use during this week’s absentee voting, as well as on election day.
Burton says the machine will provide voters a chance to physically verify their ballot before submitting it.
Saline County Clerk Brittni Burton adds that voters needing curbside voting can contact the clerk’s office at 660-886-3331 upon pulling up to the office on the Marshall Square. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
