Over 100 vendors will circle the Marshall Square this Saturday for the 8th annual Shopping Under The Sun.

The event is organized by the Marshall Cultural Council and includes free music and activities for families to enjoy. Council member Ashley Boock says visitors to the square Saturday can watch artwork come to life with the aid of a chainsaw.

The “Touch A Truck” event returns for its third year, according to council member Jessica Baker.

A magic show is also set for Saturday, while the Midwestern Hydrocephalus Coalition will have its car show as part of the event, with registration open at 8 a.m.

Shopping Under The Sun runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Evening entertainment featuring a beer garden will begin at 6 p.m., with live music from The J Love Band and The Cherry Pistols.

Details about Saturday’s festivities can be found on the Marshall Cultural Center’s website.
