The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work in Pettis and Saline County beginning next week. All work is weather permitting.

In Pettis County:
-A flagging operation is scheduled on Missouri Highway 127 at Front Street in La Monte from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 7.
-Flagging operations are scheduled at various locations on Route T from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, August 8 for pavement repair.

In Saline County:
-Lane closures are scheduled at various locations on Missouri Highway 240 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The closures are taking place:

• -East of Route P on Monday, August 5.
  -At Primrose Road on Tuesday, August 6.
  -At Queens Trail Road on Wednesday and Thursday.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
