Two drivers were injured after their vehicles collided on eastbound Interstate 70 west of Concordia on Monday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a car driven by 28-year-old Beverly Adler of Columbia went into the path of a semi-truck driven by 46-year-old Larry Thompson of Kansas City, Mo. Troopers say Adler’s car struck the truck, then went off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Adler suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a Warrensburg hospital. Thompson refused treatment of minor injuries, and his truck was driven from the scene.
The accident occurred around 6 p.m. at the 54.8 mile marker of eastbound I-70.
