A Huntsville woman sustained serious injuries after her vehicle went off the side of a Randolph County highway Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the one-vehicle wreck just after 1:30 on Route DD, about two miles north of Moberly. Troopers report that 66-year-old Susan Karg was driving south in her SUV when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, striking a culvert and overturning. Karg was taken to a Columbia hospital. Troopers say that she was not wearing her seat belt.
