Saline County Assessor Jessica Adcock Goodman fended off a pair of challengers in Tuesday’s primary election to secure another term in office.
Goodman won the Republican nomination with 43.8 percent of the vote, receiving 1501 votes to overtake challengers Shelly O’Bryan on 1043 votes and Tim Aulgur with 881. Goodman thanks voters for continuing to trust her with the task of tracking and valuing their real estate and property.
Goodman says a goal of hers in the next four years will be to educate more people about the role her office plays.
Goodman does not have a Democratic opponent on the Nov. 5th general election ballot.
