A Higbee woman was flown to a Columbia hospital after her vehicle went off a Randolph County roadway.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 62-year-old Mary Holzbaur was driving west on Route B about five miles west of Clark, when at around 12:35 p.m. Saturday, her car went off the right side of the roadway. Troopers say that Holzbaur overcorrected and crossed the highway, striking an embankment and coming to rest in Perche Creek. The accident caused serious injuries to Holzbaur, who was the only person in the car at the time.
