Demolition is scheduled to begin on the former location of Mid-Missouri Family Health soon.

Damage was report on this building, which is located on the southeast corner of the Marshall Square, in May 2024. A portion of east Arrow Street between Jefferson and Odell has been closed for the safety of the public for the last several months. City Administrator JD Kehrman says demolition of the building will begin this week, with weather being the main factor in deciding when the project will begin. Kehrman also says the contractor has a 30 day timeline planned for the demolition due to some limitations at the site.

Marshall Police will be monitoring the site and the city is fully prepared to close additional streets if the need arises. Kehrman also said that while city staff are disappointed to see an old building come down, the number one priority for everyone involved is the safety of the citizens.
