Drivers along U.S. Route 65 in Carroll County will have some orange cones to navigate around this week.
The Missouri Department of Transportation is completing a milling project this week along the highway from Route CC just north of Carrollton to the Missouri River. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each weekday in the northbound lane.
Similar pavement repairs are also scheduled this week in Chariton County. Crews will repair Route Z west of Triplett and Route M between Triplett and Route M on Monday. Route 11 between Route M and Route C east of Mendon will receive repairs Tuesday, followed by Route F from Route C south to U.S. Route 24 beginning Wednesday.
All work is weather dependent. Motorists are reminded to buckle up, put phones down, slow down and move over in work zones.
