The Missouri Department of Transportation announces the reopening of the Route P bridge east of New Franklin.

The bridge over the Bonne Femme Creek reopened Friday, after a two-month project to replace the bridge deck. The original bridge deck was built in 1961 and was in poor condition at the time the project began. The project resulted in the installation of a wider bridge deck at 24 feet and new guardrails.
