The Concordia Board of Aldermen approved a bill to set rates for residential trash and polycart services during a special meeting on Monday, August 12.

City Administrator Dale Klussman said the city will have a four percent increase in its trash service rates, beginning October 1, 2024.

The new residential trash service rate was set at $12.93, while the polycart services rate was set at $1.77 per cart.

The board also gave permission to close City Hall at 11 a.m. Friday, September 6 to allow employees to attend a ceremony for the dedication of equipment at the city park.
