A one-vehicle accident in Randolph County claimed the life of a Salisbury teenager Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 18-year-old Zander Munden was driving west on Route 24 about two miles west of Huntsville, when at around 6:20 p.m., his car went off the right side of the roadway and struck several trees. Munden was pronounced dead at the scene by the county’s acting coroner. Troopers say that Munden was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash and was not wearing his seat belt.
