A 48-hour boil advisory has been issued for certain residents in the city of Moberly.
Water service was interrupted for residents in the 300th and 400th block of Oak Terrace due to the city replacing a 2-inch flush line. Service was interrupted at 8 a.m. and all work is expected to be complete by 3 p.m.
If you experience low water pressure, or have no water, in your area there will be a 48-hour boil advisory when water service is restored.
Customers in these areas are advised that due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the system, the boil advisory will remain in effect for 48 hours once water service is restored.
During a Boil Advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking.
