A Boonville man suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident Friday morning in Cooper County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 19-year-old Cameron Poulsen was driving east on Route Z east of Franklin Drive, when just after midnight his car went off the right side of the road. Poulsen overcorrected and crossed the roadway, overturning several times. He was taken to a Columbia hospital for treatment. Troopers say that Poulsen was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
