The Moberly School District Board of Education approved a bid for beef during its meeting on Thursday, August 15.

Superintendent Christina Wright explained the district received a supply chain assistance grant in years past. She says the funds which will be used to help supplement the district food service department and approve a beef bid from a local farmer.

The board approved the bid from Reynolds Herefords during the meeting.

In other news, the board heard a construction update regarding Moberly High School’s Field-house Project.

The Moberly School District is back in session on Tuesday, August 20.
