Three Moberly teenagers suffered injuries after a one-vehicle crash in southwestern Randolph County just after midnight Friday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an unidentified 17-year-old was driving his vehicle west on Route BB, when just west of Route D he swerved to avoid a deer. The car left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. The driver and a 15-year-old passenger received moderate injuries, while a 17-year-old passenger who wasn’t wearing his seat belt sustained serious injuries. All three were taken to a Columbia hospital.
