Two area juveniles were injured in a Carroll County crash on Friday, August 16.

According to a report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Waverly juvenile traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment. The vehicle then reportedly overturned.

The driver and a 15-year-old passenger were both moderately injured in the crash. They were transported to Carroll County Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Both occupants were not wearing their seat-belts at the time of the crash.

The accident occurred at 6:34 p.m. on Missouri 10, near County Road 141 in Carroll County.
