The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout Johnson, Pettis, and Saline County from August 19-23. All work is weather permitting.

In Johnson County:
-A flagging operation is planned on Route UU between Route M and where state maintenance ends from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
-A flagging operation in scheduled on Route D between Missouri Highway 23 and U.S. 50 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
-Work is scheduled on Route Y between Route D and the Pettis County line from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
-Operations are planned on Missouri 23 between Northeast 175th Road and the Lafayette County line on Thursday.

In Pettis County:
-Pavement repair work is scheduled on Front Street in La Monte between South Oak Street and Pleasant Green Road on Monday and Tuesday.
-Pavement repair work is scheduled on Route T between Highway 50 and Route D on Wednesday and Thursday.

In Saline County:
-Shoulder repair work is scheduled on Missouri Highway 240 at various locations from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
-Shoulder repair work is scheduled on Missouri Highway 41 at various locations from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
