The project to repair the roof on the Saline County Courthouse is ahead of schedule, according to commissioners.

Presiding Commissioner Becky Plattner provided an update to KMMO News during Wednesday morning’s session.

As part of the $264,000 project, the electric flag is also undergoing refurbishment.

Renaissance Roofing Company is in charge of the repairs to the courthouse roof, which include replacing missing slate shingles and lightning rods.
