A roadway east of Marceline will have two of its culverts replaced this week.

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will replace culverts along Route ZZ on Monday, Aug. 19th and Tuesday, Aug. 20th. The roadway between Route WW and Morton Road is closed Monday from 6:30 to 4, and will close Tuesday between Morton Road and Pendan Chapel Road from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drivers will need to find an alternate route around each closure.

Also this week, crews in Chariton County will conduct pavement repairs Monday and Tuesday along Route J south from U.S. Route 24. Repairs along Route Z west from Triplett are set to begin Tuesday, with crews turning their attention to Route M east of Triplett on Wednesday, Aug. 21st. Route 11 between Routes M and C, including through Mendon, are also slated to start Wednesday. Elsewhere, the U.S. Route 65 remilling project in Carroll County continues Monday through Thursday.

All work is weather dependent.
