The City of Glasgow is fielding bids for hosting their website, after their previous website went offline in July.

City administrator Robert Snider tells KMMO News that the city’s previous website was hosted on a server that failed last month. The failure impacted the ability for city residents to pay their utility bills online, along with other features the city had been adding to their website. Snider says the Glasgow Board of Aldermen are looking for a new webmaster to design and manage the website. He anticipates bids being available for review at the next board meeting September 9th, and the new website going live before the end of the year. For now, residents can click on this link to the city’s bill-paying service or visit their Facebook page.

Separately, Snider adds that the city is also seeking bids for the installation of a water line near Eighth Street and Randolph, with the aim of also having the board review these next month.
