A memorandum of understanding signed last week by the Santa Fe R-X Board of Education will provide additional counseling services to the district’s students.
Among the annual service agreements agreed to at Thursday morning’s meeting, the board added an agreement with Country Crossroads Counseling. Superintendent Derek Lark says this will provide an additional channel to help students when the district’s counseling is not available.
The school board also approved contracts with Grow Pediatric for occupational therapy, Pediatric Place for physical therapy, and approved a special education local compliance plan.
Santa Fe also set the tax levy for the school year. Lark says the rate of $5.05 per $100 of assessed value is in line with other schools in the I-70 Conference.
Santa Fe R-X’s next school board meeting will take place at Waverly Elementary School on Sept. 19th at 6:30 p.m.
