The Carrollton School District Board of Education took actions to set the district’s tax rate and tuition during its meeting on Tuesday, August 13.

The board held a tax rate hearing before setting the rate. Superintendent Tinna Croy says the current levy remains the same.

Croy also said the district’s tuition rate stayed the same at $10,059.49, with $750 additional for transportation.

In other news, the district is holding the Meet the Trojans event on Thursday, August 29. Junior high and high school coaches get to introduce their teams at this event.
