The Smithton woman who was reported missing Thursday morning has now been located.

Pettis County Sheriff Brad Anders announced Thursday, Aug. 22 that 32-year-old Jade Chapman had gone missing and was believed to be traveling on foot. Anders updated a post on his Facebook page just before 3 p.m. to indicate that Chapman had been located and is believed to be safe.

The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing and presumably endangered person.

32-year-old Jade Chapman was last seen near Rattlesnake Road in Smithton at around 6 a.m. Thursday.  She is possibly wearing a green shirt and black pants. She is believed to be traveling on foot.
