A three-vehicle crash in Randolph County on Wednesday afternoon sent the three drivers involved to area hospitals.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash just after 2 p.m. on Route 63 at the intersection with Business 63 and Route NN east of Renick. According to troopers, a westbound car driven by 20-year-old Sarah Dowling of Moberly failed to yield to oncoming southbound traffic, and collided with an SUV driven by 27-year-old Caitlin Magers of Novinger. A pickup driven by 51-year-old Daniel Hager of Wellsville was unable to stop in time and struck Magers’ vehicle. All three vehicles went off the roadway, with Magers’ SUV striking a sign and overturning.

Magers and Hager suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a Columbia hospital. Dowling received minor injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital. Troopers say all three drivers were wearing their seat belts.
