The Carrollton School Board heard an update from Veregy regarding the Carrollton Area Career Center renovations during a recent meeting.

Superintendent Tinna Croy said Veregy has been working on upgrades to the CACC over the summer, and will soon wrap up the project.

The board also approved the design for a new sign that will be put up at the Career Center as well.

In other news, the board approve the purchase of an HVAC unit for the elementary gymnasium. The district already had a new HVAC unit ready for the gymnasium, but had to move it to the elementary cafeteria after that unit went out before school started. Croy said the new unit will cost about $45,000.
