Born December 13, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Collier Taylor and Edna Lucille (Hooper) Taylor.  On August 12, 1956, she married her life partner and husband, Ronald Eugene McCoy who survives of the home.  They were lifelong sweethearts meeting on the school bus all the way to their 68th wedding anniversary on August 12, 2024.

She was the quintessential matriarch of the family with the gift of making the home a welcoming place.  She was endlessly supportive of family members and spent her children’s childhoods nurturing their bodies, spirits and dreams.  When her children began their post high school educations, she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a registered nurse.  She completed her studies and provided nursing care for over 20 years.  She is remembered for treating her patients with kindness and dignity.

She was a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ with membership in the Disciples of Christ Christian Church and a 50 year Golden Girl in the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Beverly is survived by her spouse, of the home; daughter, Ronda Renee Helmick (Neal); son, Craig Eugene McCoy (Michelle); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her intelligence, beauty, poise, graciousness, and joy in her family were gifts to all those around her and she will be dearly missed.
