Two Sedalia residents were seriously injured after their vehicle overturned several times.
The accident occurred south of Sedalia around 7:45 p.m. Monday, when according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an SUV driven by 53-year-old John Lamb failed to make a curve as he was driving south on Route 65 near Flat Creek. The SUV struck a guardrail and overturned several times, ejecting both Lamb and a passenger, 47-year-old James Kronk. The two were taken to a Columbia hospital. Troopers say the two were not wearing their seat belts.
Both southbound lanes of the highway were closed for about 90 minutes following the accident and have since reopened.
