The Slater School District Board of Education approved the tax levy during its meeting on Tuesday, August 27.

Superintendent Terry Lorenz says the total levy remains largely unchanged from last year.

In other news, Lorenz said he met with representatives from the Central Activities Conference to discuss gate prices for entry into home football games. Lorenz says entry will cost $5 for adults, $3 for students, and $2 for seniors.
