The first week of school has not been without its hiccups, including for parents and students adjusting to changes in their trip to and from school.

Marshall Schools recently changed how students are dropped off and picked up at Spainhower Primary School. Superintendent Caleb Petet says that most parents have adjusted to the new pattern.

And Petet recapped an update on the intermediate school’s progress that Nabholz Construction provided at Tuesday’s school board meeting.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the Marshall school board voted in executive session to approve 24 offers of employment and promotions, as well as accept six resignations. Among the hires were Lorena Reyes as head girls soccer coach, Tyler Cott as an assistant high school football coach, and Victoria Young as an ag instructor at the career center.
