A motor vehicle accident was reported in the 3000 block of West Arrow at 9:56 a.m. Friday, August 30.

Upon the Officer’s arrival, they observed a silver passenger car and a black passenger car on the south side of the roadway with extensive damage. The investigation determined a silver passenger car was traveling westbound on Arrow when they attempted to make a left-hand turn into a driveway and were struck by a black passenger car.

Two people were flown to University Hospital for treatment, and three were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment. Both vehicles were towed from the scene with disabling damage.

Marshall Police, Marshall Fire, Saline County Ambulance District, Slater Ambulance, and Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident.
