The Sedalia Public Works Department will spend the overnight hours next week spraying to control mosquitoes and flies.
Crews will conduct the spraying between Tuesday and Friday from midnight to 6 a.m. The department will spray areas of the city south of Broadway and west of Ohio, including the Missouri State Fairgrounds, on Tuesday. Crews will then rotate around the city clockwise, with areas north of Broadway treated Wednesday and Thursday, then the southeastern quadrant of the city Friday. Public works crews will need to reschedule spraying in the event of rain.
