The Concordia Board of Aldermen discussed the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget during its meeting on Tuesday, September 3.
City Administrator Dale Klussman said the board reviewed the budget and said everything looks good, however, the board still has some goals for next year. Klussman said the board wants to see higher raises given to employees and some work done at the Concordia Aquatic Center.
The board did agree to allocate $40,000 from the Capital Improvements Fund as a line-item figure.
The board is holding a public hearing to get the public’s feedback on the budget on September 23.
