The Concordia School District Board of Education approved a fee proposal letter from HTK Architects regarding the district’s bond issue project.

Superintendent Theresa Christian said the fee proposal letter was within the expected parameters and approved.

The HTK fee proposal was approved at $280,150, with civil engineering at $103,950. Christian describes some of the projects HTK and the school district will be working on.

Christian also says other projects include a new floor in the elementary gymnasium and a renovation of the elementary playground.

The board’s next meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 9. There will also be a CSIP meeting held at 6 p.m. prior to the board meeting.
