Sedalia is preparing for tens of thousands of visitors to the city for next weekend’s Mozark Fest at the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

City administrator Kelvin Shaw commends festival organizers for their efforts in organizing the three-day music event.

With an influx of visitors to the city, Shaw says the Convention and Visitors Bureau will have shuttles available that run on propane.

Sedalia’s city council voted Sept. 3 to cover the insurance for the visitors bureau to operate the shuttles.
