Two Sedalia intersection closures have been extended until 5 p.m. Friday, September 20.

The intersections of South Marvin Avenue and East 11th Street, and just south of South Montgomery Avenue and East 12th Street were closed on Monday for a stormwater improvement project. The roadways were expected to be reopened on Wednesday following the completion of the project.

Work crews are now extending the project and the closures until Friday.

Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination. This work is weather dependent and inclement weather may result in the work being rescheduled to a later date.
