Richard Marks, 77, of Marshall, MO, died Thursday, September 19, 2024, at The Living Center in Marshall.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, with Willie Harlow officiating. Memorials contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. An online guestbook may be signed at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Richard was born on June 30, 1947, in Marshall, to the late Lloyd Marshall Marks and Edna Lorene (Hinton) Marks. Richard was a 1965 graduate of Marshall High School. On December 15, 1967, in Marshall, he married Margie Alice Coslet who survives of the home. Richard was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshall. He worked many years as an auto mechanic in the Marshall area. Richard loved woodworking and fishing and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed.

Survivors include his wife, Margie of the home; one daughter, Heather Steed (Greg) of West Memphis, AR; three grandchildren, Jessica Edwards (Tim), Christopher Steed (Gabbie) and Cody Marks; four great-grandchildren, Easton Edwards, Myla Edwards, Addie Steed and Ava Steed; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by twin sons, Jamie Marks and Jeremy Marks.
