The Saline County Public Water Supply District Number One is under a boil order starting the evening of Sunday, Sept. 22, and lasting until further notice.

A spokesperson for the district tells KMMO News that a leak in the line supplying the district resulted in a loss of water supply. Service has since been restored, but until require testing is completed, residents will need to bring their water to a rolling boil and allowed to cool down before consuming.

Public Water Supply District One serves the Shackleford area west of Marshall.
