The contractors currently working at the Missouri State Fairgrounds on the new Parson Arena have notified the City of Sedalia they will be placing steel plates on Clarendon Road across from Gate 9 of the fairgrounds for heavy equipment crossing the roadway.

The plates will be down beginning on Wednesday, September 25, and continuing through Thursday, October 31. Heavy equipment will be crossing the roadway intermittently during this time.

The contractor will be placing signage to indicate the plate ahead as well as trucks entering the roadway.
