Santa Fe R-X Schools will continue to supply bus service this year to elementary school students within the City of Waverly.
The district’s board of education approved the move at Thursday’s meeting. Superintendent Derek Lark says a lack of sidewalks remains an issue for student safety.
However, Lark says improvements are in the works.
Also at Thursday’s meeting, the Santa Fe school board approved the financial audit for the previous school year and approved a pair of IQ testing contracts. The board also received four program reviews and set the next board meeting for Oct. 10th at Santa Fe High School in Alma.
