A boil order is no longer in effect for residents of Saline County Public Water Supply District Number One, as of Sept. 24.

A spokesperson for the district tells KMMO News that tests have shown that the water supply is safe for consumption.

The district, which serves residents in and around the Shackleford area west of Marshall, had been under a boil order since Sunday afternoon.
