The Otterville R-VI School District will close Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, to allow students and staff to attend the funeral of a teacher in the district.

The district is mourning the loss of Stefan Basham, who taught math at the junior high and high school in Otterville. Basham passed away Sept. 20 at the age of 47.
