However, Fraley says one thing that will need changed next year are the school hours at Sedalia Middle School. He says school administrators are hoping to align the middle school’s hours closer to the elementary schools.

Both were items of discussion at Monday night’s school board meeting. Also at the meeting, board members went forward with the bid submitted last month by Professional Contractors and Engineers of Columbia for $5,668,000 for the next round of improvements to Sedalia Middle School and Smith-Cotton Junior High.
