The United Way of Saline County will kick off its annual fundraising effort Thursday, Sept. 26 with a spaghetti dinner.

Mary Ann Gilpin says the dinner will be a drive-thru service.

The dinner will be available Thursday from 4:30 until 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus at the corner of College and English in Marshall. Gilpin adds that the United Way has set a goal of raising $16,000 this year to benefit six non-profit organizations in Saline County.
