Saline County Clerk Brittni Burton reminds voters for the upcoming Nov. 5 general election of two additional dates.

The first is Oct. 9, the deadline to register to vote in the election.

The second is Oct. 22, the first date for when voters can cast an absentee ballot without specifying an excuse. Burton also reminds absentee voters to bring their photo ID.

Absentee voting is available in the Saline County Clerk’s office weekdays during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
